We’re looking for bloggers and writers who have absolutely f*ck all to say and everything to say about day to day shit that goes on their lives. Writers wanting to get some deep down and dirty lies off their chest anonymously perhaps, the more serious wannabee music journalist or a simple ligger wanting to big up their new Dubstep night.
Through writing on the site we hope that we will build a true rep of the reality of living, studying and breathing in this City. And help make people further afield then outside the ring road aware of the truly independent art, music and culture that goes down here. With emphasis on quality not quantity.
Our writers at present either live or were born here or study here. Your writing does not necessarily need to focus on local issues all the time – and it helps if you are into hiphop/soul/jazz/electronic culture and everything that is associated with those musical cultures including art, design, film and fashion.
We can’t offer payment for repping on the site, but can offer invaluable cv experience and opportunities to interview leading UK and International artists. Its also chance for artists, filmmakers, musicians, designers, photographers, graff artists, mcees, djays to promote their own work. Direct to an appreciative local and national audience and local Design & Media agencies.
